The basic contains 1 mounted huntsman, 1 mounted Whipper in and 1 mounted Field Master, 3 & 1/2 couple of hounds (light colour) and 1 fox. The can be made in combinations of any colour coat, collar and breeches (within reason). Most popular set is 1 rider with red coat, 2 riders with black coats.
Handmade from coloured glass.
You can choose riders with traditional dress or even side saddle if you wish.(see image 4) You can make up your set with as many riders or hounds as you like. (please email us or telephone for prices)

Commentary
This is our standard fox hunting set. It has been made in the UK by a real craftsman using traditional hot glass forming techniques. This type of set portraying hunting was popular back in the 1950-60s with several people in the UK creating versions as part of a larger glass portfolio. With the increase in modern materials and acrylics, the demand for glass objects decreased and the skills died out. We are fortunate to have found a craftsman today able to utilise those skills and who also has a real 'feel' for the subject itself.
